New Paintings!
Since I have started back to school, it has been hard to keep up with daily shipments. I offer NEXT business day FREE shipping on all of my art. Because of this, I will be trying to list all of my paintings on Friday evening -- with auctions ending on the following Thursday evening. That way I will have the weekend to wrap and package my art for shipping! If you like to keep an eye on my auctions, this may make it easier for you. These new paintings will be listed tonight! I really like how the bottom one, "Halloween Pageant", turned out. All the black kitties parading their finery in the spotlight!

Can you tell that I am ready to move on to Autumn? I am so tired of the extra hot, dry summer we have had in the St. Louis area. Last night we had our first rain at my house since May 12! It wasn't enough though. My yard is like a dust bowl, not matter how much I try to keep things watered. These little paintings are on Ebay now! I often wonder how the people who collect my art display these little paintings. Some of you have many, many of my pieces (thank you)! I thought I would share with you how I display my ever changing inventory of art. My husband built a narrow ledge using a couple of strips of wood trim nailed together and attached to the wall. It was very inexpensive and spans the whole wall above the couch! New paintings go up--sold paintings come down. I like my art changing along with the seasons~

I had a nice weekend. My daughter, Tara came home and we visited my parents Friday night, and I made a nice steak dinner last night, then we all vegged out in front of the TV. Today we carved several pumpkins together. It was a nice weekend of togetherness except for poor Jordan who had a football game to play at Friday night, a band competition all day Saturday and a parade to drum in today. Laura has been busy working on some Andy Warhol type paintings for one of her art classes. It looks like something you would do on a computer, but it is all done by hand. Have a nice week everyone--and don't let the spooks get you on Halloween!!

Here are my two latest paintings. I am still having fun with Halloween themes, but couldn't resist a Thanksgiving idea. I know it's a little early! Have a great week everyone!

NEW HALLOWEEN ART!
I haven't blogged in awhile because between school, family and painting, I have been so busy! I was free this weekend so I painted a lot! I had so many ideas in my head that I couldn't wait to get them down on canvas. I was up till 3 this morning doing some of them and I waxed them today. I also painted 2 "non-Halloween" canvases. One is of a little gymnast. I was so mesmerized by the Team America gymnasts in the Olympics this summer. I just love to watch them. I think so many little girls go through their "gymnast stage", I know my girls did! Well I gotta go bake a cake~today is my daughter, Laura's 19th birthday! I hope to get these paintings listed in the next couple of days. Have a great week everyone!!!!
