This painting was inspired by a photo I took of my niece Rosalie sitting with my other niece's sweet pit bull. It is too bad that pit bulls are often thought of as vicious. It is so untrue! pit bulls have gotten a bad rap over the past decade or two...I've had other's state that pit bulls are gentle and sweet when raised with love and kindness! I'm afraid the name of the breed doesn't help much either! But a beautiful painting you've done that will heighten peoples understanding of their virtues!
I've always had a soft spot for Pit Bulls.....they are always the happiest, tail wagging so fast, crush your hand against the fence because they can't get enough petting -est dogs at the shelters we visit...
