On the Lake with a Cat!
This is my version of Morisot's impressionistic painting, "On the Lake". I think if a cat was in the boat it would be a much livelier excursion! It looks nice framed up like this~ "On the Lake with a Cat" is available on Ebay now.

Whistler's Grandmother with a Cat!
What if James Whistler would have given his grandmother a kitty? Maybe she wouldn't have to look so austere! I think she may even be cracking a smile! This painting is available on Ebay now~

Van Gogh Cat
I'm pretty sure that if Van Gogh were a cat he would look like this one. This fun, chunky little painting is available on Ebay. Check it out and check back. I will be listing some more silly cat versions of famous paintings!

Armoire Makeover
I have been busy re-doing my room. This is one of the projects. It was pretty easy. First, I scanned some old photos of when my kids were little, then I printed them in sepia tones on plain computer paper. Then, I arranged them like a collage on the inner panels of the doors and used Mod Podge to glue them on. I painted the recessed border with burgundy folk art paint and put a light layer of antique metallic gold on it for kind of a gold leaf look. When that was all dry, I Mod Podged the tops of the photos. It looks really vintage now!

Just Looking
This is my latest painting, "Just Looking". I used really heavy acrylics on this one. Lots of texture on the brush strokes. I don't usually use very many pastel colors but I suppose I was feeling a bit of spring in the air today! I will list this on Ebay later this evening. The link is at the top of this page~
