impressionist styles


I have been experimenting with painting in an impressionistic style. It is fun to try new things. The first painting is based on an old photo of my grandma in the 40's. Of course I had to guess at the colors!  The second painting was a memory of a happy site when my son was attending college in Kansas City. This was the train bringing him home to the Kirkwood, Missouri station. Both of these paintings are available on Ebay by typing "folk art cris" in the search bar.

 Here are some of my latest creations. The fox is needle felted from 100% wool roving. The painting represents two of my favorite things; Vincent Van Gogh and my hometown of St. Louis! Both items are available on Ebay. Follow the links above~
