View From a Hammock

School is finally out for the summer! I said goodbye with bittersweet feelings to several of my special needs preschoolers who will be going off to kindergarten. We usually have these children in our classroom for two to three years. I wish the very best for them (and their parents) as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. It was a privilege to watch these children grow, learn, and mature in so many ways as they begin to spread their wings.

It has been a very busy week for me full of "end of the year stuff", luncheons and barbeques so I am just catching my breath and enjoying the beautiful day. I hope you all have a wonderful peaceful Memorial Day weekend and I promise my next post will have some new paintings to share!

What a gorgeous yard!!

I'd spend many a lazy day out in that hammock, too!

Can't wait to see some new art, though..
