SUMMER INSPIRATION

I took a couple of pictures outside to show you what inspired me to paint my latest garden themed paintings. My flowers seem to be in full bloom and I have baby tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash. I have been picking loads of fresh cilantro for guacamole and basil for pesto. Yummy!!

The first photo is the path leading to the main patio. The Tiki Bar overlooks another deck around the pool. The teens love to gather around the fireplace and make s'mores. The other photo is of my favorite spot on the swinging bench under a shady pergola. It overlooks a gold fish pond and has a view of the next "mountain" over.

My paintings are displayed with these wonderful chunky frames I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $6.15 each! The paintings look so neat with their crackle and antique finish in them. I will be listing the paintings on eBay soon, sorry but the frames are not included.

What an amazing garden you have, so beautiful.

The paintings look lovely in those frames, what a spoilsport you are not adding them in to the auction ;)

Thanks for the lovely comments on my paintings.
Yep I certainly did use one step crackle, I love that stuff, couldn't live without it, I also used polymer medium on that painting too to get some deep scratch marks going on ;)

As for your sister winning the necklace, you'll have to join in on the next giveaway, there will be another one fairly soon, so better luck next time sweetie x

Oh what a beautiful garden! I also have tomatoes (not ripe yet), cucumbers (2 varieties), squash (2 varieties), eggplant, peppers, radishes, watermelon, and an assortment of herbs. Cilantro is my favorite but I've been unlucky trying to grow it. Know any good squash recipes?

Great display of your paintings.
