SIGNS OF AUTUMN TODAY

There are some signs of Autumn at my house this weekend. The first one is my daughter, Tara going back to her apartment at University of Missouri-Columbia. I will sure miss seeing her smiling face every day!

The Goldfish always seem to get active in our little ponds as they forage for food and get ready for wintering at the bottom where the water is warmer.

The Sweet Autumn Clematis is beginning to cover itself with airy white blooms.

The basil plants are going to seed. Pretty soon I will harvest them before they turn brown with frost and whirl them in the food processor to freeze in Ziplocks. That way I can have a taste of summer all year long.

There is no stopping the blooms of the Mums anymore. When they try to bloom in July, I shear off the buds so I can enjoy them later on.

And....I have Halloween paintings to list on Ebay tonight! Sorry, the photos have a bit of glare due to our beautiful sunny day today. Take a closer look on Ebay later~~Have a wonderful week everyone...

I'm seeing signs on autumn too but am not quite ready for it. Is that a Mizzou Tiger in her arms? Love your paintings with the kitties on the broomsticks!

I don't know what I would do if I had to send one of mine off to college. Okay so I have a few years (7 years) before I have to do it. Really cute paintings btw and I really like the ghosts. They look like happy ghosts:)

No tears in Tara's eyes yet? Rose was a little better today. Poor little sugar lump.

Thank you Chris, I was actually born in Mexico City, I married my Irish-American husband almost ten years ago. And wanted to keep something that would remind me of my culture.
Gracias y buenas noches. (hugs)

Hi Cris, Signs of autumn...It has turned COLD here, in MN. I wore a jacket to church. I just can not believe how this summer, is almost gone.
