Although I love snow, Christmas isn't all about snow, especially in other parts of the world! I couldn't resist painting this bright and colorful Christmas Frida picture. This is a 4"X5"X.75" stretched canvas and the cheerful poinsettias continue around the sides of the painting. I listed it on Ebay yesterday if you would like to check it out. I would love to see a place where poinsettias grow naturally! I bet that is beautiful.

I saw them growing in Jekyl Island, Ga. in Bob May's yard of all things.

I have never seen them grow naturally.
But~ I have managed to bring one back the following year. It is a long process of putting it somewhere dark for the summer.I can't remember now, but it worked.:)

I love it Cris. In Mexico the Poinsettias are the size of small trees and are beautiful.
Yes, I made him and I'm making him some friends. I'm not sure what they are-I'll have to come up with a name for them.
Hey Chris thanks for the wonderful comments on my home...it didnt take but one day..once I am motivated..I don't like stopping till its done..but I do find myself tweeking it here and there..like tonight I added some lights..they needed it...have a good one...:)
